Hand Embroidered Floral Shirt | Lychnis Coronata Flower | One-of-a-Kind Wearable Art

A one-of-a-kind piece of wearable art, embroidered by hand in our Brighton studio.

This preloved blue striped shirt has been given a new life with a statement Lychnis Coronata floral embroidery, stitched across the chest in vibrant shades of orange, peach and cream, with deep green foliage and a bright red bow.

Inspired by vintage botanical illustrations and traditional floral embroidery, the design has been individually free-motion embroidered directly onto the shirt. The layered stitching gives the flowers a wonderfully textured, almost three-dimensional quality, making this a real statement piece.

Each of my embroidered garments starts with a carefully sourced preloved piece before being reworked in my Brighton studio. The embroidery is created individually rather than mass-produced, so every finished garment is completely unique.

The relaxed striped shirt features two oversized buttoned chest pockets, long sleeves and contrast white pinstripes. Wear it buttoned, tucked into denim or open as a lightweight overshirt.
